We brought the car in for standard maintenance and for one small issue. A plastic pin that was holding a flap in front of the rear tire had fallen out. The paperwork said the car would be ready by noon but the service specialist assured me the car would be ready earlier than this. We called to check on the car at 11am and found out that they had to order the part and the car would not be finished until around 2pm. This was not acceptable as the car was needed for work. We picked up the car at that time and found that they were able to make a temporary fix with a cadillac part and promised to make the permanent repair at our next visit. My husband was upset because they did not call us and explain this - we had to call them to find out that the car would be delayed. Appreciate the advice given when I called for the appointment : coupon discount, order of priorities for services needed, given the mileage my car had. So when I came in I knew what I was in for, mainly what would be done for the car, cost, and what still needs to be done on the next service date. The waiting room had amenities available (donuts, coffee, magazines, tv, friendly office staff plus a giveaway when I paid the bill) and I used waiting time for making calls from my cell in a comfortable setting.
